American Society of Interior Design teams up with UB to host massive job fair and networking event.

Shintaro Akatsu School of Design (SASD) is proud to host the ASID (American Society of Interior Design) Career Fair for college design students on Wednesday, February 17, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Shelfhaudt Gallery, in the Arnold Bernard Center, 84 Iranistan Avenue.

Approximately 300 interior students from SASD and other Connecticut design schools will have the opportunity to apply for  internships and network with professionals, including Phyllis Harbinger, who will sign her book, The Interior Design Productivity Toolbox.

“We are putting together an epic event for the student. We’ll have a portfolio review for all of the seniors and 30 different internships. We’re bussing in students from University of New Haven, Fairfield University, and Paier College of Art,” said Marsha Matto, chairperson of the Interior Design Program at SASD.
