The University of Bridgeport’s much-anticipated School of Nursing will open this fall, and the school is now accepting applicants for its hybrid RN to Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Completion Program, officials announced today.

The RN to BSN program was designed to provide a solid nursing foundation for existing RNs wishing to strengthen their academic portfolio and become competitive in the workforce. Students may combine online coursework with lab sessions for the demonstration of health-assessment skills at the School of Nursing’s brand new Nursing Skills Center.

The program can be completed in as little as one to two years, depending on transfer credits.

All courses are taught by “expert nursing faculty using state-of-the-art technology and modern-learning resources to advance the education of registered nurses,” said Nursing School Dean, Dr. Carol Papp.
