Artist Frieda Howling, whose abstract works are inspired by the natural world, will be featured at the University of Bridgeport Arnold Bernhard Center gallery from February 16 to March 21.

The solo exhibition is free to the public and can be seen from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The Gallery, Arnold Bernhard Center is located at 84 Iranistan Avenue, Bridgeport.

Featuring more than two dozen works, the show will include black-and-white linotype prints, extravagantly colored monoprints, and oil paintings.

Ms. Howling earned her Bachelor of Art degree from Douglass College, Rutgers University and a Master of Science in Interior Design from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Her art hangs in several corporate collections. She is a member of Professional Association of Visual Artists and the Arts Council of Milford and Greater New Haven, Connecticut. She divides her time between her studios and homes in Connecticut and Florida.
