The University of Bridgeport will broadcast live video feed from its 108th Commencement on Saturday, May 5, 2018, allowing viewers to watch the ceremonies at the Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport from anywhere around the world.

The live stream begins at 9:30 a.m. EST at http://bridgeport.edu/live.

John R. Ciulla, president and CEO of Webster Bank and Webster Financial Corporation, will be awarded an honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters before delivering the Commencement Address.

Class Speaker Ashlica Malcolm ’18 will address nearly 1,200 graduates, and UB alumni from the Class of 1968 will be recognized as Golden Knights on the 50th anniversary of their graduation.

Commencement services for graduate health science majors will be live streamed, starting at 11 a.m. EST, on Sunday, May 6, 2017. To watch, go to http://bridgeport.edu/live.

International students from more than 80 countries make up approximately one-third of UB’s student population. The live stream “enables their families and loved ones to share this important milestone even if they cannot attend graduation events,” said Provost Stephen Healey.
