It will be preceded by a 4:30 p.m. talk about the history and future of the TDC by the club’s executive director Carol Wahler.

To attend the opening or talk, please RSVP to gmunch@bridgeport.edu or 203-576-4034.

“Every year it’s a new thrill to unpack the TDC exhibit. There’s a totally wide variety of style and substance—elegant cards, incisive posters, wacky footwear, beautiful if puzzling books and booklets—all perfectly executed and presented. It sets a new bar for designers and our students to go further,” says Gary Munch, head of graphic design department at the University of Bridgeport and president emeritus of TDC.

This year’s exhibitors include top design students and respected professionals working in diverse media—from posters and publicity to environmental design, from brand identity to best-selling book, packaging and labeling to film titles and T-shirts.

Based in Manhattan, TDC represents members from around the world who have an interest and love of typography in all of its forms.
