Free award-winning movies—plus food, photography, lectures, and more—at the University of Bridgeport’s 40th annual International Festival
The University of Bridgeport invites the public to special free screenings of Oscar and Academy Award-winning foreign films during its 40th annual International Festival from April 4 through April 9.
The six-day International Festival also will showcase a melting pot of cultures at foreign-language lectures, photography from around the world, the always-popular Taste of the World food extravaganza, and other events.
“We have students from more than 80 countries at UB, so the annual International Festival really is a tremendous opportunity to learn about every corner of the globe and about cultures one doesn’t always hear about,” said Director of Campus Activities and Civic Engagement Kelli Meyer. “It’s fun for all ages—from school children to our senior citizens, and a great way to travel and explore without a passport.”
