University of Bridgeport’s popular lectures puts area business leaders in touch with NFL’s Chief Financial Officer and other nationally recognized influencers.
Federal Reserve Bank of New York President and CEO William Dudley will be one of three nationally recognized experts to speak at the University of Bridgeport’s Ernest C. Trefz School of Business through the month of April 2016. Joe Siclare, Chief Financial Officer of the National Football League, and attorney Cliff Ennico, an adviser to entrepreneurs and host of the popular television program, MONEY HUNT, will also lecture at the Trefz School’s ongoing Executive Speakers Series.
The Executive Speakers Series provides unique opportunities to hear directly from some of the most influential experts in the fields of economics, business, and finance.

Cliff Ennico, Esq., small-business adviser, author, and television host of MONEY HUNT
“How (Just About) Anybody Can Sell (Just About) Anything to (Just About) Anybody, and Still Feel Good About Themselves”
Cliff Ennico is best known as the host of MONEY HUNT, a PBS series running from 1994 to 2003 that invited entrepreneurs to present business plans before a panel of experts. The show is widely considered to have inspired SharkTank®. His syndicated weekly advice column, Succeeding in Your Business, has been called the “Ann Landers of the business world” and appears in dozens of major newspapers and small business websites throughout North America.
Mr. Ennico has represented over 15,000 small businesses and early-stage technology companies in his 35-year career, and currently runs his own law and small-business consulting practice in Fairfield, Connecticut. He serves as a member of eBay’s small-business education team and frequently lectures to business groups, venture capital clubs, and other professional associations throughout the United States and Canada.
He is the author of Small Business Survival Guide, MoneyHunt: 27 New Rules for Growing a Breakaway Business, and The eBay Seller’s Tax and Legal Answer Book. His newest book, The Crowdfunding Handbook, will be published by the American Management Association’s AMACOM Books later this year.

William C. Dudley, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York
“Outlook on the National and Local Economy”
William C. Dudley became the 10th president and chief executive officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on January 27, 2009. In that capacity, he serves as the vice chairman and a permanent member of the Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC), the group responsible for formulating the nation’s monetary policy.
Previously, Mr. Dudley served as executive vice president of the Markets Group at the New York Fed, where he also managed the System Open Market Account for the FOMC. The Markets Group oversees domestic open-market and foreign-exchange trading operations and the provisions of account services to foreign central banks.
Prior to joining the bank in 2007, Mr. Dudley was a partner and managing director at Goldman, Sachs & Company and was the firm’s chief U.S. economist for a decade. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs in 1986, he was a vice president at the former Morgan Guaranty Trust Company. Mr. Dudley was an economist at the Federal Reserve Board from 1981 to 1983.
In 2012, Mr. Dudley was appointed chairman of the Committee on the Global Financial System of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS). Previously, Mr. Dudley served as chairman of the former Committee on Payment and Settlement Systems of the BIS from 2009 to 2012. He is a member of the board of directors of the BIS and chairman of the Economic Club of New York.

Joseph Siclare, Chief Financial Officer, National Football League
“The Business Behind America’s Favorite Sport”
Joseph Siclare was named Chief Financial Officer of the NFL in October 2011, reporting directly to the NFL commissioner. In that role, he is responsible for the financial management of the league-level business entities as well as overseeing various business function areas that include Club Business Development, Corporate Strategy and Development, and Labor Finance. He also serves as the liaison to the League’s Finance Committee and Stadium Committee.
Mr. Siclare has been with the NFL since 1992 and has been its Controller and Treasurer. He has a master’s degree in public accounting from Pace University and is a registered CPA.
